Do suppliers need to obtain an International licence to use the UK Edition of SNOMED CT?
Yes. All suppliers of SNOMED CT enabled systems and researchers must also enter into a licence agreement with the International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation Association on the Affiliate Licence Terms, and thereby become an “Affiliate” prior to accessing any part of the UK Edition of SNOMED CT. In the UK this can be done through the UKTC.
