Do summer courses count towards the core and/or electives requirements?
If the course would qualify when offered during the academic year, then yes the same course qualifies during the summer. However, you (and your advisor) should recognize that additional tuition may have to be paid to take a summer course, and it would almost certainly be less expensive to take the course during the academic year when you normally must be registered full-time “anyway”.
