Do summer associates travel for work?
Students interested in working in one of our international offices during the summer are encouraged to express their interest during the recruiting process. Selection for a stint in one of the international offices is based on a lottery system, with consideration given to the needs of the other offices as well as any necessary or helpful language skills. In the summer of 2007, we had 19 summer associates assigned to one of our international offices. In 2008, we have 16 summers assigned to one of our international offices. Many other summer associates worked and traveled internationally and domestically.

International office stints are confirmed in the spring.
