Do study halls look terrible on a college application?
I don’t think you have anything to worry about. If you can get into those other classes, that would be excellent, but honestly, most schools don’t even include study halls on their transcripts. If you’re still worried, go to your college admissions counselor and ask if study hall are graded or credited on the transcript. The likely answer will be no, but again, if you can get on the waiting lists for creative writing and computer programming, that would be excellent.
