Do students with test modifications receive these accommodations for the specialized high schools examination?
Students who are granted test modifications through a 504 form or an IEP are eligible to receive these accommodations. Parents must notify Ms. Jalayer that their child has these services so that he can forward a copy of the modifications to the test site to notify them of the need for accommodations. These students will take the test on a date separate from those who do not have test modifications. Please remember that 504 forms must be renewed every school year and that a plan for the seventh grade will not be sufficient for the examination during the eighth grade. Parents must have the 504 renewed before the exam in the eighth grade and in time for it to be submitted for these modifications to apply.
