Do students in the B.A.-M.D. Program receive credit for high school AP exams?

0

The B.A.-M.D. Program generally follows the AP policies of Brooklyn College, and according to these policies students receive Brooklyn College credit if they score sufficiently high on a given AP exam. With AP chemistry and physics, the B.A.-M.D. Program has a special policy: students may accept credit for Chemistry 1, Chemistry 2, Physics 1, and/or Physics 2 according to Brooklyn College’s AP policies. However, if a student accepts AP credit for a given one of these classes, B.A.-M.D. Program rules stipulate that the student must instead take an upper level course in that science. Students may opt to decline the credit for which they are eligible. For example, a student with a 4 or 5 on the AP chemistry exam is eligible to receive AP credit for Chemistry 1 and Chemistry 2, but the student may decline this credit and take Chem 1 and Chem 2.
