Do students have to have a meal plan?

0

Residence hall students must purchase a meal plan and are automatically billed according to their housing assignment. Mandatory meal plans are pre-determined, and specific to each students living area. Students will have either a full or partial meal plan. Each plan has a certain amount of “dining points”. Dining points are accepted like cash and is like a declining balance account. Fall meal plan balances carry over to the spring semester; remaining balances at the end of the spring semester do not carry over to any future semesters. Residents are not permitted to opt out of the meal plan. See Dining Services for more information.
