Be sure your child has breakfast before coming to school. We have a morning snack after recess at 10:20. We don’t have an afternoon snack. In my class we all eat the same snack, so it is not necessary for you to send an individual snack for your child. When your child is the Special Person you need to send snacks, beverages, cups, and napkins for 25 students for the entire week. Many parents have found it convenient to bring in snacks for all week on Monday morning, (you can leave them in the office or bring them down to my room). It isn’t necessary to wrap the snacks individually, but you can do this if you want to. Healthy snacks are highly recommended. Some suggestions are fruit (bananas, apples, grapes, raisins), cheese and crackers, yogurt, veggies and dip, animal crackers, or pretzels. I give students small snacks because they will be eating lunch at 11:45. So, I will give them 2-3 apple slices or 1/3 banana, or a handful of crackers. Suggestions for beverages would be fruit juic
