Do students get hands-on experience with computer hardware?
A. CMG Tech Teen’s founder, Computer Mentors Group, recommends it. Ideally, every student who completes the basic computer literacy course will have an opportunity to work side by side with an instructor to build a computer before he or she leaves the program. This exploration process gives teens an “inside” peek into the workings of computers and helps make the educational process tangible. Plus, it’s just plain fun.
