Do students get drug tested in addition to their background check?
Neither a drug testing nor background checks are required as part of the admissions process. However, background checks are required prior to starting clinical work, and each clinical site has its own policies regarding these. Drug testing may be required prior to clinical coursework depending on each individual clinical site’s policies.
