Yes. Strong odors in the room, where the medicines are stored or the application of strong perfumes etc. while consuming homeopathic medicines has shown to decrease the efficacy of homeopathic medicines and on occasion render them completely useless. Similarly the application of strong smelling oils and ointments for pain relief and other purposes can significantly reduce the efficacy of the homeopathic medicines.
