Yes, all doors and windows in Florida needs Miami-Dade County certification or Florida approvals. Some cities don’t accept Florida approval but all cities accept Miami-Dade County approvals (NOA) so check with your city. All Deco Design Center impact entry doors are approved. You can check with the door manufacture to see if they have the proper approvals for custom mahogany impact doors.

Miami-Dade is known to have the most strict approval codes for hurricane-resistant impact windows and doors. Unlike many of our competitors who claim their products meet Miami-Dade code standards when very few do, all of our windows and doors are Miami-Dade County and State of Florida approved.
