Do stereotypes about females & males make it harder to report certain crimes?

MALE STEREOTYPES -Rape -Domestic violence -Soliciting prostitution -DUI (not as strong as the other three, but the drunkard image is generally associated with men.) -Robbery -Murder FEMALE STEREOTYPES -Prostitution In my opinion, investigations robbery and murder crimes (because it is possible that there could be no witnesses) could be made more difficult by gender stereotypes, but other than that, the victim should be able to identify the criminal, and gender should logically have nothing to do with it.
