Do staples and paperclips need to be removed?
No they do not need to be removed – save your fingernails. What about diaries and hard backed ledgers etc? Our shredders have a very good appetite and will handle hard backed books with ease. Is the paper cross-shredded? Yes, 16mm triple hooked blades are responsible for shredding your paperwork into confetti sized pieces, perfect for recycling. Do we need to sort our waste paper ? No. All different sorts of paper can be shredded together. We don’t expect you to sort as you don’t have time and as we are offering a confidential service, we do not sort your documents either, as this would be a breech of our security of sensitive information policy. The waste product is recycled as mixed grade waste paper into paper wipes and toilet rolls. We do respectively request that plastic is kept to a minimum.
