Do spacers hurt?

0

I’m not going to lie, but they do hurt. More than braces at that. It doesn’t hurt at all getting them put in, and they usually don’t hurt otherwise, but the next day when you wake up and go to eat something, they hurt horribly! And they’ll hurt for four to five days and it’ll be almost impossible to eat. But on the sixth day, you shouldn’t feel any pain at all. I stand pain really well, but they DO hurt a lot. So to answer your question, no, they don’t hurt putting them on (it feels like they’re flossing your teeth) and no, they don’t hurt when you’re wearing them; only when you eat. So you might have to eat with your front teeth for a while, or just drink soup. Hope all goes well.
