Do Southern Baptists wear wedding rings ?
lastbattlecry I am not Southern Baptist and I know Southern Baptists wear wedding rings. In an area were many are southern baptist, do you know how silly that sounds to even ask? Those people are basically just as worldly as any other mainstream relgious group on the average. There are some particular southern Baptist churches that walk in accordance with Scripture much closer than the average. But few and far between. Otherwise, they would just normal in any other christian group generally. HOWEVER, I do not wear wedding rings and have been married for 18 years. My wife does not wear them either. THEY ARE PHALLIC SYMBOLS from Egyptian paganism. The finger in the ring represents sex, and virginity gone. You can find this in several history books which address the history of wedding rings.
