Do Social Workers have to wear a uniform?

No, no uniform. Most places of work have rules about piercings so you would have to check – depends on which council you work for, and your eventual Line Manager. But if it’s a problem, as its a job that you really want, then you could just take them out when your at work which is what a lot of people do. You would need a degree, ideally in Social Care. Good GCSE’s and A’Level results before hand would obviously help but it doesn’t matter what GCSE’s you do as once you get to Degree level no one looks at those.
