Do single child develope differently?

0

An only child will definitely turn out a little different from a child with siblings, but one isn’t better or worse than the other. It may be harder for him to learn to relate to his peers because he doesn’t have any peers at home. He may be lonely and bored more often. He might get more spoiled, too. On the other hand though, he may become more creative and imaginative because he is alone more. He may get to know himself inside a little better than a child with siblings would. And he doesn’t have to share the love of his parents with any other children, so he will always know how special he is. The hardest part of being an only child usually comes when the child grows up and doesn’t have siblings to help him deal with hard parts of grown-up life. For example, a child may be perfectly happy without brothers or sisters, but one day when you or the child’s father die, he isn’t going to have a brother or sister to cry with. I think that would be the toughest part.
