Yes, all sheds regardless of size require a zoning compliance certificate in order to confirm compliance with applicable zoning provisions. Additionally, sheds greater than 160 square feet require a building permit and building inspections. Other accessory structures such as play structures, gazebos and pet shelters, are regulated by zoning ordinance.
