CTY Talent Search participants who qualify for SET receive special recognition and a SET Certificate at their local or state CTY Awards Ceremony. CTY also hosts a Grand Awards Ceremony at Johns Hopkins University to honor top Talent Search participants from around the world. Many students who qualify for SET are invited to this ceremony. At present, the qualifying scores for SET and the Grand Ceremony are not identical, so some SET qualifiers are not invited to the Grand Ceremony, and some Grand Ceremony participants are not invited to join SET.
