South Slavs are mediterranean, period. Mediterranean isn’t just the very coastline, but the whole Balkan peninsula, just like the Iberian peninsula, central Spain is mediterranean, so is Serbia and Macedonia.
In fact, majority of serbs are of indigenous balkan people, with a slavic language, much like southern- americans are mostly native, speaking spanish from the invasion.
And to be honest, when you look at a serbian, you see resemblence to romans, etc.

No. Serbs look Central to Eastern European. Mediterranean trait is relatively short. Serbian women are taller than Mediterranean men, say Albanians for example.
