Do Schipperkes react badly to any anesthesia?
When having your Schip anesthetized, make sure of the following things: 1. The vet is aware that Schips are sensitive to anesthesia. 2. Make sure the vet uses ISOFLURANE. 3. Make sure mask induction is used. 4. Make sure no pre-anesthesia is given. 5. Make sure a monitor is used at all times. 6. If the dog is older make sure a pre-screening is done prior to being anesthetized. The sensitivity to anesthesia can be serious…so please make sure you are cautious and follow the above regime.
