Do Sat Nav systems detect laser?
No, none of the Sat Nav systems on the market incorporate a laser detector for alerting you to mobile cameera sites. However, Snooper and Road Angel have included the locations of common laser ‘hotspots’ on their GPS camera database. This means that whilst they won’t detect the laser signal, they will alert you to the fact that you are approaching a “High Riskzone” meaning that there is a distinct possibility that there will be a laser gun in operation.
