Do Samsung BD-UP5000/LG BH100/200 support 1080i over component video?

Do the new Samsung and LG players (I’m primarily looking at Samsung due to availablity, features and reliability) support 1080i over component video for HD-DVD and BluRay discs? What about regular DVDs? DD5.1 and DTS 5.1 over TOSLink? I have an older Denon receiver and don’t want to pay for a new receiver at this point until I upgrade my TV in a couple of years when I have gotten effective life out of the TV as it still has an excellent picture especially HD broadcasts. . My TV (Toshiba HDX82) has DVI support but it was calibrated on the component video and I suspect the HDMI-DVI experience may not be as nice without shelling some money to colour calibrate at this point and the conversion cables are a bit more expensive compared to regular HDMI cables. Also my receiver doesn’t currently do video switching so I only have two component inputs (one for the cable box and the other currently for DVD) and the DVI input on the TV. I’m happy with the performance of component video if I can get
