Do safety camera vans (speed camera vans) have to be clearly sign written in england?
Actually, no they don’t. Speed camera vans operated by the police must be marked as such and always are. Speed camera vans operated by the local highways authority (as many now are) are usually just plain white vans, with blacked out rear windows. They are not required to have any sort of identification. I know this from bitter experience…
