Do residents need to continue to pay rent until they vacate their apartments?
Yes. As long as residents occupy their apartments, they must continue to pay rent up until March 31, 2008 when everyone must be out of their units. However, residents may vacate their apartments at any time without prior notice. Rent for the month during which a resident vacates the premises will be prorated such that the resident will only pay rent for the days during which he or she occupies his or her apartment.
