Do Reiki practitioners talk to spirit guides?
Personally Jay does not talk to spirit guides. He has never felt any presences and is unsure as to whether these are real or just a projection of a persons own ego. He is, however, open to other peoples experiences. He has treated and taught people who talk to their guides and is respectful of their Truth just as they are of his Truth. In Jay’s opinion there are two types or Reiki practitioner: those that talk to spirit guides and angels, and those that simply use the energy. Just because he does not have a spirit guide, however, does not mean that he is not a spiritual person. We all have our own spiritual paths to follow, and it is just at present Jay’s does not include spirit guides. If the use of guides concerns you because of your own beliefs do ask your Reiki practitioner before-hand whether they are going to use guides within the treatment.
