Do “refurbished” laptops work the same as new laptops?

Yes they do. And a lot of the times, refurbished ones work much better than they did when they were brand new. Sometimes in a refurbished laptop, the parts are replaced with more updated and improved parts. Both of my laptops that I use now are Dell refurbished laptops, and they have outlasted some of my friends’ brand new ones. They are not just under a year old, both of them, and I had a friend that bought a brand new laptop 6 months ago, and it was supposed to be one of the top-ranked ones; Sad to say that it gave out on him, he got his replacement warranty one, and it crashed and burned too, while my two refurbished ones still look and function even better than brand new ones. Thanks for listening.

No. New laptops are generally equipped with the ability to work faster and accomplish more than older laptops with older technology. Refurbished laptops are older. The difference may be minute, but there usually is a difference. However, many people note that the price difference is worth the downgrade in performance.
