Do real contractions feel like period cramps???
Sounds like Braxtons. And yes, contractions feel like period cramps only much worse. Many fear the pain of labour, but I can say, from my experience at least, that once the pain is really there, you are in the moment dealing with the pain and there is no fear or horror to worry about. Wishing you a wonderful birth, you are in for a hard, but lovely time of your life. You should see your doctor if you are worried, though. At your level of pregnancy, I guess you’d be at weekly visits in any event…(at least that’s what it’s like in Australia!!). Good luck!.
