There are a few traditional competitive events normally attended by many Rose Bowl masters swimmers. One is the annual Maui Channel Relay swim event held every year in Maui, Hawaii around Labor Day. The other is a Western Division Masters Swimming event, usually held at the University of Arizona in mid-February. There are other events attended by smaller groups or even individual swimmers.
