Do Ragdoll Cats have to stay indoors?
I have a ragdoll cat and wouldn’t consider letting him wander outside of my property – ever! He’s a beautiful looking cat, and not terribly cautious, which means he could get himself into all kinds of situtations. He may also end up becoming someone else’s pet since he’s so gorgeous, and is likely to approach other people and be hurredly adopted! He does get time outside though – but in an enclosed area of my yard. He has lots of space and can stalk birds, but he can’t leave my yard. Ragdoll or not, I think all cats should be confined to their owner’s property, for their own safety and for the sake of the neighbours. It’s not hard to keep them occupied indoors – you just have to put some thought and effort into it. Too many people let their cats roam because it’s too hard to put the effort in to taking care of them at home. Good luck with your kitty – keep them both safe!
