Do dogs normally bite people? It follows the same rules. It depends on your rabbit’s personality and how it is raised. If your rabbit is bitting, instead of nibbling, first see what you are doing to cause this reaction. If it bites when you pick i up, maybe it doesn’t like to be picked up. If that’s the case, don’t force it. Leave the rabbit alone. You can train your rabbit not to bite by making a loud noise when it does. Yelling “ouch” is enough. Rabbits only make loud vocal noises when they are in pain, so they can identify with this response. Hopefully the rabbit will make the association and stop bitting.
