Do questions concerning arguments for and against the existence of God serve any useful purpose?
Due to the nature of YA and the anonymity it provides, it’s all too easy for people to sink to intimidation or spouting messages of hate and intolerance. Any posting that questions interpretations of faith, race, (or any other incendiary subjects for that matter) are likely to get a fair proportion of such answers. If you can get through these, sometimes it’s possible to find a well balanced argument that actually gives you pertinent information. You just need to persevere, or join a forum where people are more enlightened and open to real discussion. However, as I said, with such subjects there will always be a few who are not open to other people’s point of view.
