Do PVC Fittings need to be protected from the sun?

Yes, all PVC, whether pipe or fittings, needs to be protected from exposure to sunlight. Either paint it, bury it, or cover it with something. We also sell UVR PVC Fittings that are UV (ultraviolet) resistant and may be exposed to the sun. These are also known as Brownline.
