Do prostitutes use Green as well as red lights to display in their window?

Red Lights, as in the term “red light district” comes from the railroad days when the engineer would “sleep” at the brothels. They would hang their work lantern outside of the establishment and wrap their red hankerchiefs around it so that they could be found in case of an emercency with the railroad. The color red has long been used to indicate distress and is used by railroads to this day to flag trains. I could not fathom any reason a prostitute would utilize a green light.
