Do Promax bars contain high fructose corn syrup?
A. For years, candy and confectionery manufacturers have used high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) as a sweetener. To this day, many sports nutrition and energy bar companies use HFCS. However at Promax, we continually strive to improve the nutrition of our products. As a result, we are currently developing a sweetening system that eliminates HFCS. Currently, we have three Promax Bar flavors that have been reformulated and now contain NO high fructose corn syrup. These three flavors are: Cookies ‘n Cream, Double Fudge Brownie, and Chocolate Peanut Crunch. Until the new Promax Bars without high fructose corn syrup are in full distribution, you will need to specifically look for packaging that calls out NO high fructose corn syrup.
