No, projects that are in the current Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) do not have to be reconsidered for Transportation Outlook 2040. However, projects listed in the previous long-range transportation plan, Transportation Outlook 2030, that are not in the current TIP will need to be resubmitted. This is due to changing federal financial and environmental integration guidelines, and to support the newly adopted policy direction for Transportation Outlook 2040.
