Do private school teachers get paid more than public school teachers?
On average, no. Some of the big expensive private schools (Exeter, Andover, St. Pauls) pay a lot, but the smaller private schools often don’t even pay as much as public schools. However, they also don’t have to require that you’re certified to teach, or know your subject, and you don’t have to put up with discipline problems nearly as much.
