Do preachers of Christianity know what atheism means?
My goodness! Yet another example of ignorance. I totally understand what you mean. These people obviously are not to be listened to because they don’t listen themselves. If they could just take the time to learn what Atheism means, like many Atheists take the time to learn about organized religion, then they might get my respect. Personally, I will take in many points of view if people want to give them to me, but I can’t stand it when that turns into a one way preaching session. The thing that worries me the most is when my fourteen year old friends spew racist, hateful things without knowing what they truly mean just because their parents say it too. Do they hear what is coming out of their mouths? All that I can hope for is that they will grow up, fall in love with an Atheist, and have gay children. Thanks for allowing me a rant session!
