Do Practical Examiners Need to be Certified Crane Operators?

0

While it is highly recommended that Practical Examiners be CIC Certified Crane Operators, CIC also welcomes other well-qualified individuals to become Authorized CIC Practical Examiners. Examples may include operators certified through other accredited programs, supervisors leading operator apprenticeship programs, crane inspectors, crane operations managers, and more. CIC does, however, require that either the Practical Examiner or Proctor be a certified crane operator. See Responsibilities for more information about what is expected of a Practical Examiner.
