Do POWERBAR products contain Genetically Modified Ingredients?
POWERBAR uses ingredients that meet our high quality standards and are in full compliance with the U.S. government regulations. Genetically modified (GM) crops grown in the US have been reviewed extensively by the FDA, USDA, and EPA, who have determined that GM crops are as safe as their conventional counterpards. Because the use of GM crops does not affect the safety or quality of the ingredients made from them, we do not require that our suppliers specify the orgin of the crops they use.
