Do policemen fartt during high speed chases?
It only happened once in a Georgia State Police chase in 1932. Trooper Billy Bob (Bubba Boy) Broomhandle had a near miss with a pig crossing the highway in the middle of a high speed turn, near Bumsrush Knuckle Junction. Trooper Broomhandle nearly lost control in his successful attempt to avoid the pig and, in his excitement, let loose a relativiely high volume of methane gas from his colon. Enough methane in the cruiser’s cab had replaced virtually ALL the breathable oxygen and the trooper temporarily blacked out due to asphyxiation. Unfortunately, the turn ended adjacent to a fifty foot cliff. Just as the cruiser got airborn, the trooper regained consciousness just long enough to transmit, over his radio, “Awwwwww, sheeeeeeitttt!” when the car exploded, (presumably from sheer fright, before impacting at the bottom of the cliff. Invistigators determined that it was probably the presence of the high concentration of methane gas that contributed to the severity of the explosion. Since t
