Yes. Merrill Points expire five years from the last day of the month in which they were earned; or 60 days after the account has closed.

Unredeemed points expire at the third calendar year excluding the year the points were earned.

The expiration date on the points is noted on the certificate. Points will be invalid after that date, and cannot be redeemed for a prize. Their value will become 0.
