All the following Bayer MaterialScience plastics: Apec®, Bayblend®, Makroblend® and Makrolon® satisfy the requirements of the EU Scrap Vehicle guideline (2000/53/EG) . These products comply with the bans and restrictions on the use of lead, cadmium, mercury and chromium (VI) set out in this guideline. Compounds of these elements are not used in the production of our thermoplastics. Please find further information under EU – Certificates and Directives.
