Do photosynthesis and respiration occur at the same time in a plant?

0

photosynthesis occurs during the daytime, it’s when light energy is converted into chemical energy (ATP) to be used to split water molecules to get hydrogen, the oxygen is released through the stomata, ATP is made in the grana. The remaining energy and hydrogen are passed in to the stroma, the thick liquid between grana. Carbon dioxide by now has been let into the leaf through the stomata and the energy is used to convert hydrogen and carbon dioxide into simple carbohydrates. This is respiration and occurs when there is no light ( light-independent reaction) Photosynthesis occurs in the grana. Respiration occurs in the stroma. Stroma and grana are both contained within a chloroplast.
