Do pharmaceutical researchers who create new drugs know anything about nutritional deficiencies?

A. You cant attempt to fix something without a thorough knowledge of how it works…so, yes, drug manufacturers know exactly what nutritional deficiencies cause various diseases. Their job is not to supply the public with this information, but to create a saleable drug that can alleviate symptoms. But alleviating a symptom doesnt mean the cause has been addressed. Non-organic drugs can mask symptoms, but rarely repair the underlying cause of the problem. In the meantime the nutritional deficiency rages on, causing more and more damage until a whole new set of symptoms show themselves. Then another drug is prescribed…and the cycle continues. Q.
