I strongly recommend against it. Pet hedgehogs should live in a cage with at the bare minimum 2 feet squared flooring, 3 or 4 feet squared is best. Some popular cadges for hedgehogs are wire rabbit cadges with the wire rack flooring removed, large Sterilite/Rubbermaid storage bins, one level ferret cadges, homemade c&c cadges, and sometimes though they are not the best thing to use, large aquariums.
