Do people with PSP suffer much pain?

The PSP itself does not cause pain and there seems to be some evidence that PWPSP do not feel as much pain as other people. PWPSP suffer falls, sometime resulting in cuts, bruises or breaks, and do not complain of undue pain. My husband fell many times and split his head open, often requiring stitches, but he never broke bones. It was puzzling to me that he never cried out or indicated pain at all. However, once his catheter was inserted incorrectly and his bladder was greatly overextended before I got help. I took him to ER and the ambulance attendants told the doctor he had been arching in pain in the ambulance.
