Do people with autism suffer from repressed memories?

0

Autism is no disease. There are two routes to Autism, one is through inheriting it (Genetics), the other is through brain injury. Autism is a failure of communication, socialisation and imagination. Autistic people simply do not relate to the world or the people in it, in the same way we do! Many of them also suffer severe sensory perceptual difficulties, which makes relating to that world even more difficult. So it differs from schizophrenia, which is a delusional / psychiatric disorder quite markedly. Hope this helps.
