For decades, the introduction of voice interface with computers has been predicted with pathetic results. If you try voice recognition software for transcribing, it’s abysmally bad. Quicker to type manually. Meanwhile, people are typing on their phones. I don’t think price is the only driver. Perhaps privacy. Or are people wierded out by talking to machines? Just wondering.
